A referee should absolutely make an appropriate call when it comes to concussions. There are a very serious head injury that may or may not heal. Players of all major sports receive a concussion and there is no real way to prevent them. According www.dosomething.org "Head trauma resulting in brain injury is the greatest killer under the age of 45 and the greatest cause of disability in people under 44. Brain injury's kill more children under age 20 than every other cause combined." A concussion is very grave injury and should be treated immediately. But when the player gets called for these types of penalty and the opponent was no where near to obtaining a concussion the call was useless.

Is the NFL abusing the rules of "concussion's" when it comes to penalty flags and fines?

Do athletes bear any responsibility for being role models for children?
Unfortunately the New England Patriots has also had the down fall of Aaron Hernandez. This 24 year old has gotten himself in a big conundrum, he is charged with murder and was once am idol for young children in New England. When Aaron was put into jail Robert Kraft, the owner of the New England Patriots, released him from the team. Then later that week any fan who had bought Hernandez's jersey where able to bring it back to the Pro Shop and exchange it for a different player’s jersey. This is an example of a player who really messed up his life, the 24 year old millionaire is now strictly looking at a long hard road ahead of him.
Overall if children look up to the correct athletes and follow in their footsteps they will be able to pursue their dreams, and yes athletes do obtain a large amount of pressure for being a good role model for children. If the children wish to pursue in a professional sport than they will have to look up to the athletes who give them good examples. If these children where to reach there goal then they will know to inspire the lives of children as giving back to their community.

Aquib Talib excited to join the Denver Broncos
Know what does this mean for the Patriots? So far the team is just letting players go and not having any come in. Although there are some star worthy free agents still available such as Emmanuel Sanders and Santonio Holmes. Unfortunately the Patriots also let go of Julian Edelman the wide receiver who was one of Brady's passionate players. Not to mention last years lost of Wes Welker to the Denver Bronco's as well. How will the Patriots do next year? No one really knows but as long as New England still has Tom Brady, Bill Belichick and our die hard fans I have a feeling we will come out on top!

Superbowl quarterback Russell Wilson takes the baseball field!
The Seattle Seahawks recently took home the Super bowl title on February 2,2014 but is that all Mr. Wilson has in his plans? Maybe possibly a World Series champ too? On March 3, 2014 Russell Wilson was seen on the Texas Rangers field, showing off some of his unique skills. His good attitude lead to a positive outcome from some of his teammates. According to www.profootball.com “He talked about self-motivation and on priding himself on getting ready,” outfielder Michael Choice said. “To see a guy that age that poised and that prepared was really impressive. He is well beyond his years in terms of wisdom. Yes, I learned something, but I think he could talk to 40-year-olds and they’d learn something, too.” Mr. Wilson was taking his session's very seriously and wanted to prove his skills on the baseball field. According to the report, outfielder Michael Choice stated that Wilson “remained very focused on every grounder and every pivot. He smiled easily, but appeared to be totally locked in." Maybe there is room for a world series ring along with his super bowl ring. Wilson is not the only athlete who has encompassed two professional sports, there is Bo Jackson who is a retired professional baseball and football player and also Michael Jordan who is a former professional baseball and basketball player. Jackson was selected with the first overall pick of the 1986 NFL Draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but he opted to play baseball for the Kansas City Royals, who had drafted him in the fourth round in the 1986 amateur draft. He is the only athlete to be named an All Star in two major American sports and he was named the greatest athlete of all time by ESPN. While Jordan surprised the sports world by signing a minor league baseball contract with the Chicago White Sox on February 7, 1994. He was also a player of the NBA Chicago Bulls from 1984-1993 and 1995-1998.
Overall there are no limits when an athlete is determined to leave a mark on professional sports history, while retired or just starting a major career they will be forever remembered and embraced by fans all over the country. And you never know maybe soon we will see Wilson on the baseball filed this year.
